Privacy Notice
How Down To Groundworks Ltd handles the information you send us.
This notice covers the downtogroundworks.co.uk website only. It explains what we collect when you use the enquiry form, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Down To Groundworks Ltd, 63 High Street, Chislehurst, Kent BR7 5BE. We are the data controller for the information described here. For any question about your data, email info@downtogroundworks.co.uk.
What we collect, and when
We only collect personal data when you choose to send it. If you complete the enquiry form we receive the name, company, phone number, email address and message you type into it. We do not collect anything else about you, and we do not buy or obtain contact data from third parties.
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking software on it, so there is nothing for you to accept or reject.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use what you send purely to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to carry out the contract or quotation you asked for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for responding to a business enquiry, and performance of a contract once we are working together. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
Who processes it alongside us
One service handles the form on our behalf, and only for that purpose:
- Web3Forms — delivers the completed form to our inbox as an email.
Once the form arrives, the enquiry sits in our own email system like any other message.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful to answer, and are then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a job, the records are kept for as long as we need them for the contract and for the periods required by tax, health-and-safety and construction record-keeping rules.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Email info@downtogroundworks.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
